– ⅓ cup dry white wine

– 1 ½ cups chicken with gravy recipe stock

– 1 tablespoon freshly chopped sage

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

To make the brown butter chicken gravy:

In a large skillet, soften the butter over medium-high warmth. Add the chicken and cook dinner until browned on all sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet and put aside.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened. Stir in the flour and prepare dinner for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk within the chicken broth and milk. Bring to a boil, then cut back heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or till the gravy has thickened.

Stir within the sage and chicken and prepare dinner till heated via. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

3. Drain on paper towels and let cool.
