Egg Roll Bowl With Tofu For A Meatless Monday

1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

To make the egg roll filling:

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a big skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and prepare dinner, stirring sometimes, until browned on all sides.
  2. Add the onion and celery to the skillet and cook dinner until softened.
  3. Add the cabbage and prepare dinner till wilted.
  4. Add the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to the skillet and cook dinner, stirring regularly, until the cabbage is tender.

To make the sauce:

1. In a medium bowl, whisk collectively the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Set aside.

2. Heat the vegetable oil in a big skillet over medium-high warmth. Add the tofu and prepare dinner until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
